A lot of detailed work went into this piece, it is a beautiful brooch made of 980 silver. It is old, pre-1948. The clasp is the old C-clasp. Serafin Moctezuma was known to copy designs of Spratling and even confuse buyers with his SM way of marking the pieces so that it appeared to be WS if held upside-down.
