Graziella Laffi fell in love with Peru and made it her home. According to a Peruvian article she has spent her life "hammering the precious metal (silver), dominating it and forcing it to take forms full of movement and fantasy". The Peruvian government has decorated her with the Orden del Sol for her invaluable contribution as an ambassador of their natural culture.
