Carl Pappe (1900 - 1998) was born in Hungary and immigrated to the US as a child. He visited Mexico in 1934 and stayed. He died in Taxco where he and his wife, Bernice Goodspeed, had a studio and gallery. This is a watercolor of an Indian woman with black ink line detail. I believe it is the original frame as the phone number of the framer has no area code! SOLD THANK YOU
