A wonderful fun pin from the silversmith Damaso Gallegos. This piece is early as noted by the way it is marked. The fish is hand stamped to create the design of scales and the broad smile! It is curved outward, not flat. Damaso Gallegos was born in 1890 and moved to Taxco in 1940 for more opportunity as a silversmith. His workshop made silver pill boxes and ID bracelets for the US government during the war. SOLD THANK YOU
