Authentic wood dance mask from Suchitlan Mexico. This is a small town near Colima. The artist is the son of a famous mask maker, an expert himself in this artwork. His name is Gorgonio Candelario Castro. Few authentic mask makers are left, the children today do not see this as something they wish to learn. This mask represents three ages of a man: youth, middle age and old age as seen from three different angles. More photos available.
