Very large stone carving (I think it is serpentine) of a warrior head, possibly Mayan.
The stone is domed (carefully carved out in the back) so as not to be extra heavy and very skillfully finished. Headdress is a circle of sterling bones. When held to the sun, the stone is translucent in places. Chain is strong and sturdy, clasp closes tightly. Post 1948. This would be the focal point of your outfit. It is a unique piece from Taxco.
